​Jade Boats was established in 2021 by Jaakko Malinen. Since his childhood, Malinen has been attracted to the water and was influenced by his father's passion for boat building. After almost a decade of various jobs and schooling, he found his passion for boat building at Ikaalinen College of Crafts and Design. Combining the skills of an artist, boat builder and engineer, Malinen graduated with his own magnificent mahogany boat. Eight years later, after working in construction, Jaakko Malinen founded Jade Boats. In collaboration with boat engineer Kai Noras, they ensure that the designs balance intuition with technical precision. With a belief in continuous improvement and a commitment to craftsmanship, he is driven to create exceptional boats that stand the test of time.
